PDM‘s commitment to the forefront of technology has once again been internationally recognized, this time on one of the most relevant stages for the future of communications.
Luís Landeiro, our Chairman of the Board, has co-authored a paper that received the “Best Paper Award” at the ICCNS2025 (International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Communication, Networking and Services), an event held in Varna, Bulgaria.
About the Award-Winning Research
The paper, titled Metrics Gathering for AI-based Trust Assessment, addresses one of the biggest challenges for the next generation of networks: how to ensure trust and security in increasingly complex and intelligent systems.

A Key Contribution to the iTrust6G Project
This award-winning research is part of the European project iTrust6G, in which PDM plays an active role.
The project introduces innovative concepts and solutions for a unified and intelligent security architecture across distributed network and cloud domains. It aims to address advanced 6G use cases through a software-defined and Zero Trust-based security architecture. This methodology ensures trust, flexibility, and a low-cost implementation in future 6G networks.
Recognizing the PDM Team
In addition to Luís Landeiro, fellow PDMers Paulo Correia (Architecture Advisor, R&D) and José Pedro (Senior System Administrator) also contributed to the project’s execution.
This recognition is another source of pride and motivation for all of us at PDM. It confirms that our work not only keeps pace with but also helps define the course of technological innovation.
